Connor Leavens hit Ryder Hutton with touchdown passes from 13 and 19 yards sandwiched between two Lucius Negrillo field goals.
The Saints got on the board early in the third on a 61-yard pass play from Byron Bishop to Pete Saint Fleur. Bishop ran for a short touchdown and threw another late in the game, but the Saints never trailed by less than two touchdowns in the second half.
Bishop was 17-for-35 passing for 213 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Bryceton Butkiewicz (Moose Lake-Willow River) led the Saints on the ground with 79 yards on 17 carries. Saint Fleur caught three passes for 83 yards.
CSS (0-2 MIAC) returns to Duluth to play Gustavus Adolphus next Saturday. The game is scheduled for Malosky Stadium at the University of Minnesota Duluth.

CSS collects first MIAC win
St. Scholastica had its best hitting percentage of the season and won for the first time in MIAC play, taking down St. Benedict 3-1 (25-21, 25-20, 17-25, 25-20) on Saturday in St. Joseph, Minnesota on Saturday.
Jessica Remer led the CSS attack with 15 kills. Madissen Burns added 12. Ellie Greenwaldt posted 22 assists and Katie Brostrom 21.
Defensively, Alcia Draper racked up 40 digs.
CSS (1-4, 1-2 MIAC) returns home for a MIAC match vs. Concordia (Minn.) on Friday.
Saints blanked by Bethel
First-half goals from Matthias Caspari and Erik Martens were more than enough for Bethel in a 2-0 MIAC win in Arden Hills, Minnesota on Saturday.
Going on shot attempts (9-9 at halftime and 21-19 CSS for the game), play was fairly balanced, but Royals goalkeeper Colin Hupert was equal to all six shots the Saints put on target. Liam Lothian made seven saves for CSS.
The Saints (6-5, 2-3 MIAC) have a non-league home game on Thursday vs. Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Shrode’s goal holds up for CSS victory
Abigail Shrode scored for St. Scholastica in the 48th minute and the Saints made it hold up for a 1-0 MIAC win over Bethel Saturday in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
Brianna Jorgenson made 11 saves for the clean sheet, her second in as many matches.
CSS (3-5-2, 3-1 MIAC) goes for a three-game win streak on Wednesday at Augsburg.
